WORK WITH A PERSONAL TRAINER WITH US

Hiring a personal trainer can be a game-changer for your health, fitness, and overall well-being. Below are the top reasons to hire one, along with how each benefit translates into real-world improvements in your daily life. Additionally, we’ll explain why choosing Trainability vs a big box gym can enhance these benefits even more.

Expert Guidance and Motivation

Benefit in Daily Life: A personal trainer provides expertise on proper form, exercise selection, and safety, reducing your risk of injury and ensuring you get the most out of your workout. The motivation they offer keeps you consistent.

Why a Non-Big Box Gym?: Trainers in smaller gyms often have more flexibility to support you personally, whereas big gyms tend to have higher member-to-trainer ratios, limiting individualized attention.

Benefit in Daily Life: If you have a history of injuries or chronic pain, a personal trainer can help you strengthen specific muscles and improve your flexibility, reducing the likelihood of injury in everyday activities (e.g., bending down to pick something up, running, or lifting heavy objects).

Why a Non-Big Box Gym?: Smaller gyms often offer a more intimate setting where trainers can give you more attention and adjust your workouts with better care for your specific injuries, unlike crowded big-box gyms where you might feel overlooked.

Benefit in Daily Life: A personal trainer designs workouts tailored specifically to your fitness level, goals, and any unique challenges (like injuries). This ensures you’re working efficiently towards goals like building strength, improving cardiovascular health, or losing weight.

Why a Non-Big Box Gym?: In smaller, specialized gyms, personal trainers can dedicate more time to understanding your needs and developing a more focused plan, without the distractions and cookie-cutter routines often found in larger, more commercial gyms.

Benefit in Daily Life: A personal trainer ensures you stay committed to your fitness routine by scheduling sessions and tracking progress. This accountability makes it more likely you’ll stick to your goals, even on days when motivation is low.

Why a Non-Big Box Gym?: With fewer members and a more personal environment, trainers in smaller gyms are more likely to follow up and ensure you show up, whereas big-box gyms can feel impersonal and disengaged.

Benefit in Daily Life: A personal trainer helps you make the most of your workout time. If you’re busy, the last thing you want is to waste time on ineffective exercises. They streamline your routine to give you maximum results in a shorter amount of time.

Why a Non-Big Box Gym?: Smaller gyms tend to have fewer people, which means you won’t be wasting time waiting for machines or equipment. Trainers can design your sessions to be more efficient, eliminating unnecessary rest periods or exercises that don’t serve your goals.

Benefit in Daily Life: Exercise is well-known for boosting mental health, and a personal trainer can help you achieve this by providing a structured, achievable plan. Regular success, like hitting strength or endurance milestones, builds your self-esteem.

Why a Non-Big Box Gym?: Personal trainers in a smaller, community-focused gym tend to foster deeper relationships and trust, which can improve emotional well-being and create a more welcoming, non-judgmental atmosphere.

Ready to take the next step in your health journey? Let's get started!

At Trainability, each of our trainers operates independently, allowing us to carefully match you with the right professional to meet your specific needs. To ensure the best fit, one of our team members will personally consult with you to recommend the trainer who aligns with your goals and preferences. Our trainers bring a wealth of expertise, with each having 10-20 years of experience, so you can feel confident that you’ll receive top-tier training.

Personal Training rates are on average $120 per session. Discounts may be available on larger package purchases. At our Mission location, there are no membership fee, you’ll only pay your trainer. At our Potrero Hill location, membership is required for the open gym. We have heavily discounted this price to $49 per month (normally $129/mo) as long as you are an active client of one of our trainers. Your first session is a complimentary assessment, which gives us an opportunity to better understand your unique needs and goals, while also allowing you to experience the trainer’s approach and training methods firsthand.

As part of our commitment to your holistic success, we’ve partnered with Fuad Al Qudsi, a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist at FuadFit, to offer a 30-minute nutrition session, ensuring you receive comprehensive guidance in both fitness and nutrition.
